I am a seasoned creative professional with over 15 years of experience in digital media design and visual art. Throughout my diverse career, I've embraced opportunities across various industries, honing my skills and mastering a wide array of digital tools and design processes. My extensive background allows me to craft innovative, visually engaging solutions that effectively communicate ideas and tell compelling stories. I thrive on the challenge of merging creativity with technology, and I'm passionate about pushing the boundaries of visual expression in every project I undertake.
I get this mindset because of my skills in lateral thinking through design and abstract thinking through art. I have a strong belief that I can and will come up with creative solutions to problem!
I have found myself putting totally unrelated things together and making coherent meanings out of it. I find this skill drastically helpful in finding innovative solutions beyond traditional design boundaries!
I always embrace the possibility, the idea that even if we don’t know the answer, that it’s out there and that we can find it. Because of this mindset I always look at failure as a learning tool to progress.
My enthusiasm to solve design problems helps me initiate projects and even conceptualize them from the start. I have skillsets to work on both web and mobile applications
As a freelancer designer and visual artist I have learned to work independently on projects. Working collaboratively I have reached great heights as a team member and project manager.
My passion to build communities makes me a natural in communicating with teammates. My breadth of experience with digital media technologies, its tools and design processes allows me to easily articulate with stakeholders.
Information design is about synthesizing complex data into visually engaging narratives that are easy to understand. In my career, I've honed this skill across both digital and physical realms. Digitally, I've created interactive graphics, presentation design, UI designs, and brochures that bring data to life for viewers. Physically, I've applied these principles in curating art exhibits in galleries, where the spatial arrangement and presentation of information play a key role in storytelling. This diverse experience enables me to craft compelling, accessible, and memorable design solutions.
Learning design is a creative, evidence-based process of shaping educational experiences that resonate with diverse audiences. Over my career, I have reimagined an online museum MOOC for adults, crafted engaging online video tutorials for both adults and children (6-12 years), and curated cultural learning events for museums. My approach involves assessing learning gaps, creating detailed personas, designing effective learning models, and leveraging educational theories. This blend of theory and practice allows me to create meaningful, impactful learning environments that cater to unique audience needs.

Brand and promotional design is the process of crafting a brand’s visual identity by unifying design elements like logos, colors, typography, illustration, and photography. Recently, I had the opportunity to create a cohesive brand identity for an NYC-based company specializing in cultural learning products and content. This project involved capturing the essence of their mission and translating it into a visually compelling system that resonates with their audience, ensuring the brand not only stands out but also communicates its core values effectively.

I am an interdisciplinary artist seamlessly moving between the handmade and the digital. I paint with mixed media on canvas, draw with rice flour, spices, and sand on the floor, and make installations combining ephemeral materials, animated videos, and projections. Impermanence, ritual, and centrality guide my drawing process. My ephemeral drawings come out of a process of abstractions that and capable of infinite understandings. These drawings are wiped away and redrawn, like a repetitive ritualistic practice. This way when art is recreated every day it is an acknowledgement of the impermanence of all things material around us. Sometimes these drawings inspire my paintings and at other times they inform my site-specific installations where they grow bigger and create environments for the audience to meditate and participate in.
